Description:
A Full Time PACU RN needed
Hours: 12:30PM – 9PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Shifts: 8.5 hours with a 30 minute break
and call (Call is usually nights and weekends).
Requirements:
2 years recent PACU
ICU and/or ER background
Basic recovery room skills needed; (We have few arteriole lines, no swans, infrequent CVP’s).
RN must be an independent clinician
Must have current ACLS and BLS
The position requires that the nurse also works in the Ambulatory Surgery Department (We have an ASD across the street from the Main Hospital and it runs generally 9am-5pm)
We will GTD a 36 hour work week with the expectation that the nurse will work 40 hours; however when a week has a holiday in it we will not GTD hours that week when the PACU is closed.
