Job Description
Located in a welcoming neighborhood, a charming ADA-compliant ranch-style home sits at the end of a gentle slope. As you step inside, the joyful sounds of nursery rhymes and children’s laughter fill the air, accompanied by the familiar tunes of Mickey Mouse. These spirited, medically fragile children receive critical care and support that extends beyond what can be provided at home, creating a space where they can truly thrive.
KenCrest is a leader in specialized care, offering families a chance to transition their children from hospitals to a safe, nurturing, home-like environment. Each KenCrest home fosters a warm, family-centered atmosphere where children engage in daily activities, school programs, and field trips. At the same time, they receive the essential rehabilitative and medical services they need to reach their full potential.
We are currently seeking passionate Pediatric Nurses to provide exceptional care to medically fragile infants and children at our Children’s Transitional Care Homes. These children have complex medical needs that require 24/7 nursing support in a caring, structured setting. As a Staff RN, you’ll work with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, giving you the opportunity to provide personalized, high-quality care. You will be responsible for conducting thorough evaluations, administering treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans. Your role will be crucial in ensuring these children receive the medical attention and emotional support they need to heal and grow.
At KenCrest, we value the contributions of our dedicated nursing staff and offer a supportive work environment where you can grow both professionally and personally. In addition to the rewarding nature of the work, we offer competitive pay, no weekend or on-call shifts, benefits that start the 1st of the month after hire and maybe, most importantly of all, the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of these children and their families.
Join us in providing specialized, compassionate care and making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most. With your skills and dedication, you’ll help ensure that every child at KenCrest has the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing and medically supported environment.
