The Emergency Department Licensed Practical ( Vocational ) Nurse ( LPN or LVN ) provides direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency department or inpatient area utilizing various nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction of a registered nurse.Type of Opportunity: Full Time, non exemptFTE: 0.900000Work Schedule: Mid shift, 11a - 11p

Qualifications

• State of New Mexico LPN License required
• Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing
• BLS certification required at time of hire
• PDS IV Certification course (within orientation period)
• Basic Cardiac Arrythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is used (prior to ACLS)
• ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for areas where required
