Do you have an RN license? Love the idea of providing direct patient care? Join ROC as a Foot and Nail Care Registered Nurse! We'd love to show you what it's like to work here. This position is a temporary position and will remain posted until filled.
You would be the go to for our patient's in need of foot and nail care in in our Foot and Ankle Clinic. You would provide direct patient care for patient's foot health, answer questions, ease their nerves, and help them on their journey to improved foot health. We want our patients to get back to moving the way they want to be moving, and foot care is a major part of that! You would play a role in improving their lives each day.

What would you do as a Foot and Nail Care Registered Nurse?
The Foot and Nail Care RN is responsible for caring for patients in the foot and ankle clinic who have a medical need for nail care as treatment. This position focuses its time and effort on the following duties, though others may be required. You can expect to regularly:
- Assess the status of patients' health;
- Explain and ensure that patients are informed about the treatment and what to expect;
- Deliver preventative foot and nail care for patients including cleaning, addressing fungal toenails, trimming toenails and removing corns and calluses;
- Monitor the patient according to the policy and procedure;
- Document patient care, treatment process, and patient response into the electronic medical record;
- Identify potential risk to patient and take action to minimize risk;
- Educate patient on proper foot and nail care to prevent further issues if possible;
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care throughout the patients' visit.
Requirements
- Certifications/Education;
- Active/Unrestricted Nevada Nursing License (or the ability to obtain one);
- Experience;
- One year of experience as an RN doing foot and nail care as a major function of the job.
Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?
- CFCN (certified foot care nurse) or CFCS (certified nurse care specialist) certification.
