Acute Medical Step-Down :

• The Acute Medical Step-Down unit at Presbyterian Hospital provides care for high acuity patients within a culture that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect.

• Night and weekend differentials
• Education differentials ($2.00/hour for BSN; $4.00/hour for MSN)

Presbyterian Hospital is PHSs flagship hospital located in the heart of Albuquerque. As a not-for-profit acute care facility, Presbyterian Hospital is dedicated to the care of its patients and community. Presbyterian Hospital offers a wide range of specialized care including heart health, womens health, childrens health and neuroscience care.

The new Progressive Care tower at Presbyterian Hospital features:

• 11 stories and 335,000 square feet
• 144 all-private patient rooms with views
• Healing gardens and tranquil indoor spaces including several green spaces where staff, patients and their families can rest their minds and refresh.
• Strategically designed, decentralized nurses stations that facilitate provider collaboration and access to patient rooms
• Spacious, private wellness rooms for breastfeeding employees
• An employee gym with brand-new fitness equipment

Work schedule: 0.001 FTE (PRN)

12-hour Days, 7:00am - 7:00pmNon-Exempt

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or above required.

  *Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred

• Registered Nurse-NM

  *State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License

• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
