Follow establishedprocedures. - Verify the identity of each resident before administeringthe medication/treatment. - Ensure adequate medications, supplies, andequipment are available. Report needs to DON. - Ensure narcotic recordsare accurate for your shift. - Notify DON of all drug and narcoticdiscrepancies. - Give a thorough, concise report at change of shift.Communicate pertinent information to the appropriate person in a timelymanner. - Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with safetyand infection control policies and procedures, including thorough handwashing, use of disposable gloves where indicated and proper disposal ofsoiled materials.
