March 2019 Nursing Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

Our nursing industry data analysis for March 2019 saw growth in many areas compared to February 2019. Total active nursing jobs increased from 284,689 to 289,020. Total new nursing jobs posted grew immensely from 459,688 to 675,840. Most notably, CareInHomes had 10,525 active jobs. Nursing job seekers interested in nursing careers as an RN should strike while the iron is hot – 440,714 new RN jobs were posted last month.

CNA remained the most popular job title for nursing job seekers on iHireNursing, with RNs and LPNs rounding out the top 3. Nearly 2,000 new CNAs joined our site last month as well. 20% of iHireNursing’s members are willing to relocate for a job, and nursing job seekers maintain their membership with us for an average of 1,374 days (or approximately 3.75 years).
