A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in the nursing industry as they provide basic care to patients and assist nurses with medical procedures. Prior to becoming a CNA, an individual may have had roles such as a Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or Medical Assistant. These roles provide valuable experience and exposure to the healthcare environment and patient care, offering a solid foundation for a career as a CNA.
