Join the NE NC Nurse-Family Partnership at Halifax Community College Team

Northeastern North Carolina Nurse-Family Partnership at Halifax Community College (NE NC NFP at HCC) provides a free personal nurse to first-time moms-to-be living in NE North Carolina who are less than 28 weeks into their pregnancy. Our specially trained nurses provide education and support starting early in the pregnancy and may continue until the child’s second birthday.

Our goals are to:

Improve pregnancy outcomes
Improve child health and development
Improve the economic self-sufficiency of families within our service area

We educate and encourage families to:
Engage in preventative health practices
Provide responsible and competent care to their child
Develop a vision for their own future and their future as a family unit
Continue their education
Return to work or become gainfully employed

Nurse-Family Partnership www.nursefamilypartnership.org is a nationwide program whose vision is “a future where all children are healthy, families thrive, communities prosper and the cycle of poverty is broken”.
